One of our favorites is using maple syrup instead of caramel in our popcorn. We think this recipe is the very best and the testament is that it will not last an evening at our house.

Maple Butter Popcorn

Ingredients
  • Cup Popcorn
  • ¾ Cup MapleWorxz Maple Syrup
  • ¼ Cup Butter
  • ¼ tsp. Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp. Salt
  • ½ tsp. Vanilla
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.

  2. Pop the popcorn and place in a bowl.

  3. In a saucepan, combine the maple syrup and butter and bring to a boil over high heat.

  4. Reduce the heat and cook 4 minutes stirring occasionally and then add baking soda, salt and vanilla.

  5. Drizzle the maple butter mixture over the popcorn. Toss the mixture with the popcorn to coat the popcorn well.

  6. Place the mixture onto two large cookie sheets. Bake for 15 minutes while stirring often.

  7. Remove the popcorn from the oven and spread the mixture on waxed paper to cool.

  8. Be sure to store in popcorn in an airtight container if you have any left...which we think….you won’t!
