A Bacon lovers delight!
- 1 Pound 1/4 inch sliced bacon
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Maple Syrup
Preheat Oven to 325 degrees F
Line two flat cookie sheets with rims with wax paper
Sprinkle the Brown Sugar in a shallow long pan
Pour the Maple Syrup in another shallow pan or bowl
Dip each strip of bacon first in the Maple Syrup and then coat on both sides with the Brown Sugar. Then Place each strip on the cookie sheet
Place the cookie sheets into the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes turning each half way through the time
Then check the bacon for crispness and if more is desired, bake another 5 minutes and then remove from the oven to cool
Then remove the bacon from the cookie pans and place on a plate to finish cooling !
