  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 3/4 cup Dark or Amber MapleWorxz Maple Syrup
  • 6 tbsp Melted Butter
  • 2 large Large or Extra Large Eggs
  1. Grease an 8 or 9 inch pan and Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients, (cornmeal, flout, salt and baking powder) until combined.

In another bowl, combine the eggs, butter, maple syrup and milk. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring together only until they are well combined.

Scoop the batter evenly into the greased pan and bake until light brown, about 20 minutes. Test for doneness with a cake tester or thin skewer until the tester comes out clean.

If you are a Maple person, have a picture of syrup handy to drizzle over your served slices!
